Could someone tell me how to get the 50 team points in a round? Is that like giving 50 points worth of ammo packs or medic revives in a round or is that a squad total? I have all the other requirements but can't figure out how to get the team points or even what they are. Thanks in advance.
i dont know how i got mine just revieve 25 ppl and youll see
i got mine playing assault... lol thats kinda wierd and i wasnt going for it i would say kill damage assists and revives will help
Medic whoring is the way to go.
Support brings up the slack. Basically cap flags, revive, heal (Hold the bag, don't throw it, heals multiple people at the same time and you), and defend flags. Always be with your squad, and be in the biggest squad. Try and stay by a lot of troops too. I find that a 64 man Karkand server thats about half full works best, its got enough tickets to get the badge, but it also has enough people that medic is effective without getting armor raped.

First, you have played 200 hours and you have to ask a question like this? You don't know what team points are AFTER 200 HOURS?
Second, how many times do we have to read posts like this ... I mean does anyone even try to search? I mean, even the Wiki has the information on how to get team points.

It doesn't matter ... just do whatever you do best to get team points ... heal, revive, cap flags, defend flags, give out ammo, fly a chopper so that your gunner gives you points, etc. I am absolutely horrible at BF2 and got this ribbon on my very first attempt merely capping flags.

Yup, medic whoring it is your best bet. Use whatever gun you're comfortable with and... revive like mad. Cap flags like mad. Throw out med packs everywhere.
Also! Find a server with a large map and low player count - probably 32 players max... low 20's being better. You'll make a ton of points capping flags. 2 per neutralize, 2 per cap. These rounds last for ages so the points can add up.

Medic!!!!!!!!!!! be a medic!! and go to Karkand. it is hard to find a long lasting server on karkand, you just gotta get lucky. i got it only because every person around me died. i got 21 revives that round.
Capture points in Dragon Valey or Gulf. Thats the key.
Being a Medic is probably the easiest way to get the 50 Team points, but you should probably go with medic/support/engineer to get it. Get in on every flag capture and try to get shots in on any enemy you see to get kill assist points. Throw out whatever packs you can and repair everything in sight. It really isn't too hard if you're on a good server.
I've Medic whore like a crazy and got 55 team points....but no legion of merit...!?!?

i had the same problem, while trying to get the meritorious unit ribbon. i finally got it very short befor the game ended with about 51 teampoints.
Go to a 64 player Karkand, and just revive, no killing. Boom, you have it. It's not hard.

i've gotten 50 + team points like 4-5 times without getting the award...i'm starting to get revive and heal points like a mad cow...

I once got 38 team points IAR, but it was NOT easy. Your best bet is to join a good clan. Otherwise, you may have to karkwhore as a medic.

Go for lots of flag captures. a half full 64 player map/server helps. Medic, Engineer or Support are you best classes to help you. Driver kill assists help too. ride in an APC or Tank with a good driver/gunner from flag to flag.
The most team points ive ever gotten was in the high 80's, i dont remember the exact number. Just go around capping enemy flags (2 for neutralizing, 2 for the actual cap). If you're a medic at the same time you can get 50 in no time.
