Ok, so I log in yesterday, and decide I want to play Karkand with sniper for a bit. So I join up, and spawn as USMC in the suburb, we had apparently already pushed them back to the train accident. So I start making my way down to the buildings above suburb to get a good sniper spot, when I see a vodnik heading my way, about to run me over, with its gunner trying to slaughter me first. So I panic, and my first instinct, for some weird reason, was to pull up my M95 scope and take a potshot. I did so, and got a headshot (read one-shot kill) on the driver. Of course the gunner, no longer having to correct his aim with the moving car, slaughtered me, but I still thought that was pretty cool. So I play a bit longer on Karkand, and decide it's time for some Wake. I find a server, join up, and start playing. No commander on USMC, so I took the job. Spawned as assault on the Northern Village, and was providing frontline support to my troops (I've become pretty good at bringing up command window, accurately giving support, then exiting and resuming the battle on the frontlines. It works, I tell you, but that is for another post). Anyway, running across the village to the bridge leading to North Base, I saw a FAV coming my way. Crap I had my grenade launcher armed from trying to long-range nade enemies in the base. Oh well, better to give a fight than just let myself be run over. So I shot the launcher at the jeep. BOOM! It explodes like 2 meters from me. I feel pretty dang good today

Well done with the M95. I haven't had any near death lucky kills like you did, but I have taken out drivers before.
The two luckiest shots that I've been involved in dealt with killing planes. First one occurred when I was the RIO in the F-15 on Daqing. Pilot was chasing down the Su when he flew down to rearm. I thought, 'What the heck, I'll take a shot.' A second later - boom. Laser guided into his top (not that the laser aimed at him, just caught him in the path between me and the spot on the ground I targeted - sweet shot though).
The second occurred just 2 days ago on kubra. Pilot in a Cobra hovering just above the center of the dam about to use the helo pad to repair. I see a plane coming straight at me and hear the tone, so I dropped flares, went lower and spun 180 degrees. The plane was going over the air strip to rearm, and my gunner had the balls to fire a tv guided missle up his tailpipe. I first though, 'What a waste, there is no chance to hit him.' Then I saw the 2 driver kill assists show up on my screen. The pair in the Su was quite angry and didn't believe we could hit them with the chopper.
The moral of the story: Pilots, don't bother to rearm because you'll die in peculiar ways. ;P

I had a darn unlucky shot yesterday.
I was playing on dragon valley and my K ratio was 4:20 because i was TKed a damn lot. so i tried to get killed to avoid a pearple heart.
I saw an attack chopper flieng over and to draw its attention i shot a few bullets on it in the hope he killed me, the pilot tried to make a looping and crashes giving me a kill . I was not laughing
and a other lucky shot from another dude i was in a RIB on wake pretty far from the shore. I get shot out without warning and thing wow a skillfull sniper but now i got my head shot out with a PKM on the first frickin bullet
