some things are good, some things are bad. the thing that seems to dissapoint me the most is that the patches all seem to "fix" things that only whiney noobs complain about. I am an adult and i hate even saying the word "noob" but this issue really irks me. The blackhawk is a devastating weapon on the battlefield..... in real life and in 1.0.... now, many patches later, the blackhawk is nothing. you can't kill anything with it, everything else kills it real fast, and it's basically been nerfed into nothing because too many people were pissed off that they couldn't figure out how to properly use it in order to win the game.
there are many other things that they nerfed that the people who whined got their way. and the funny thing is, it's all in the name of "realism" EA says.... yeah, jumping and shooting at the same time isn't realistic, but dropping two-ton vehicles out of the thin air onto snipers is realistic......
scrap the patches, go back to 1.0.... STOP TRYING TO "BALANCE" THE GAME EA, YOU SUCK AT IT!!! HOW BOUT TRYING TO FIX THE SAME BUGS THAT HAVE BEEN AROUND SINCE 1.0??? LIKE THE RED/BLUE GLITCH???? Everybody in my clan of mature gamers, about 35 or 40 of us are really fed up with EA and are looking to find another game, from another company.... let's do the math, 40 of us, times about 100 dollars for the base, and expansions..... hmmmm thats 4000 dollars EA just lost cause they have no quality control or any real grasp of what the community thinks.
