I had 100+ kills with the knife, when joined a server the other day i got it without knifing anyone 10s after i joined, didn't even know they had nerfed the requirements. Really spoiled my fun! I was looking forward to go try get 18 knife kills

Same here. I was pissed.

I've been playing for less than 2 months, and I consider myself to be pretty damn good with the knife. So whoever said "if you got it pre-1.3, you suck" is wrong. 'Cause I'm pretty sure I can still get 18 in a round. I had 16 IAR the day I got my basic. Two more couldn't have been too hard.

You are right. I did get 15 knife kills in a round to get to 100 kills to receive my badge.

It's like every generation of BF2 players have seen their favourite things get nerfed/removed. For those of us who started playing around 1.12, we saw the demise of true dogfighting and free movement, now the later ones who've been playing since 1.2 see their awards become almost worthless. Sometimes I just wish that EA/Dice would leave the damn game alone already.
