Well I got the basic knife medal IAR 7 kills. Then I got my 50 kills for the veteran but I didn't get it. Do I have to do the IAR 7 kills again? Because the veteran says 50 global kills and 7 IAR. Ithink I have to do it again and this applies for a lot of badges. Thanks for the feedback.

You do have to get 7 kills IAR after the 50 global kills with a knife.
wish someone would tell me how you people do that... I'll never get either damn badge... sigh
I got mine on Karkand using the UAV as much as possible. With the uav you can see which direction the enemy is looking, and can make a mad dash to try and get the knife kill on him. I ended up with 8 kills in that round and now just waiting until I have the 50 global kills to go for the vet badge.

I think you have to do the IAR 7 kills. I have my basic pistol badge got the 7 kills iar. and for the next requirement it shows 12 of 50 kills with pistol + IAR 7 kills. So when you hit 43 overall kills with knife/pistol.. in your next round kill 7 and you'll get the veteran badge.
