That wouldn't surprise me if it was, NTL connections are as bad as their customer service, you spend three hours on hold to be told that everything is down and there is nothing anybody can do about it apparently, but they make sure the money comes out on time .PoP wrote:

Try BT, I have just got a free upgrade to an 8 meg line, and their customer service is way better too.
If you have a problem with your connection, 9 times out of 10 they get it sorted whilst your on the phone which is crucial when you are trying to enjoy a gaming session.
