Sigh, I just got this stupid message. Everything worked fine yesterday and I haven't changed anything. I tried updating PB manually but didn;t help. I can't really repatch to 1.3 since I have the incremental patch and it won't allow me to run it. Just checking if there's anything else I might do before I try d/l the full patch.

I've been playing with dedicated server, battlerecorder and battlelauncher for the last few days. Any chance one of those is causing it?

I d/l and installed full patch - didn't help

Somebody said to scan for viruses - I found 2 and they have been dealt with - still can't connect.


ANY IDEAS???

Just uninstall the game, remove all traces in the parent directory, and reinstall

Thats what you going to have to do, unless you have a backup mod

Try playing other maps, or is it for all?

Yeah, I was wondering if there's another way before I reinstall.

I think it was caused by BattleLauncher BTW.

yeh sarrk is rght, full uninstll and deletion of the bf2 folder in your hard drive, so its as tho you have never played the game before. i had it once, but only for the wake island map.
