I spent over $40 and a fucking joystick, countless hours PRACTING the plane in it and about 14 fucking hours in the plane without. Last night I got 19 kills IAR without but no FUCKING 15 MINUTES. How long your in a fucking plane IAR doesn't show 'skill" in aircraft. So I try for it tonight. Every fucking J-10 whoring 24/7 n00bs are getting them. I fucking teamkilled em for it but it was too late in the round for the ribbon. I don't care about -4. And fuck the ribbon

You need to get to it at the very begining of the round, a 16 player/64 map might help things as well, draging things out so you can be sure to get the time.

there is a few good flying guides out there, maybe you should go check them out.

yeah man, i got mine on clean sweep using the bomber. people tend to clump together on that map, theres only one mobile AA, and there are only a couple AA sites, all of which are out in the open.

Yeh I got mine on one of the Internode Wake Only servers. I use keyboard only, I tried mouse but didn't like it much and don't think I'll bother getting a joystick.
keep practicing noob, it will be ok. The game isnt all ribbons and marshmellows. Try being a team player for once instead of being a stat whore so you can feel some sense of self acomplishment through a videogame.

I never really want to try for it. I dont fly, nor do I like to. I tried flying, I got raped by some guy flying with a clan mate (seperate plane, not in the same one). Aerial service ribbon = easy.
Kubra or Clean sweep 64. Doesn't matter about numbers. The easist way is to get with a good pilot and use the laser guides on Kubra. Have gotten many a noob their ribbons that way
BTW Joystick only FTW. If you don't have a joy stick you can't avoid stinger/AA worth a crap. (Very wide Split S)

Are you kidding me? Everytime I get in the air, I could get the Aerial Service Ribbon, sheesh, talk about noobs.
Helped two relatives get it. It was EXTREMELY easy for them to get it, and both CANNOT fly planes at ALL. They were gunners in my bomber on Tabara Quarry. It wasn't hard at all.
I myself got it a LONG time ago on Cleansweep, piloting the 15.
