some admin do abuse their power too much though, if im waiting for the jet to respawn after i die in it and someone comes up , obviously wanting it, i let then take it, no biggy and i would NEVER kick anyone for having a vehicle i wanted.
im only admin to kick/ warn the problem players , teamkillers, abusers and rule breakers, i dont have admin to use it so i can get what i want, any admin that does is a sad act and should be stripped of their adminship,,paying for the server or not.
when they RENT a server they are given GUIDLINES on how it showed be run and OFFICIAL rules that have to be played by,,,kicking to get a vehicle you want BREAKS THEY RULES and could get their server closed.
And eventually the server loses players and goes away. BFROE and BF2RS will investigate servers that are breaking the ROE, but it takes time and effort to build a case and most of us cant be bothered. Most of the problems tend to be ones of understanding and perspective.
The definition of bunnyhopping, baseraping, spawncamping tends to change when your are the do-er vs. when you are the do-ee.
If I spawn in to an uncap base, I shoud not be killed immediately by a sniper... Yes or No?
A tank should not sit 50 meters away from the square on Karkand and mow down any enemy soldiers who appear... Yes or No?
Can a bomber/fighter bomb the commander's assets in an uncappable base? Is that baseraping? If he hits an engineer next to the UAV is he baseraping???
If the AA missile at the uncap is shooting at your jet, are you allowed to go kill it? Should you be allowed to kill it before it shoots at you?
You'll get a different answer everytime you ask these questions.
Hell, start a few polls with these questions and watch the debate rage.
