it will be ok but you wont be able to use max details with that card.
i got the gigabyte 6800GT 256MB and i can go to medium and some high settings, 2xAA on a 1280x1024 resolution but above that my FPS drop below 25 (and start lagging).
BF2 is still top of the notch graphics and a 6600GT is kinda old already
but do not worry it will still look good.

the 7800GTx should give you a nice performance and graphics no doubt. but dont forget that you need enough RAM (about 2 Gig) for the huge enviroments to be displayed properl.
