Hi i got Battlefield 2 in September and now I am a second lieutenant and i only have the first gun unlocks and none of the second gun unlocks. I don't have the F2000 of G36E or the L9 and so on. I have no clue what is going on and i was wondering if someone could help me.
you need to have special forces to get the unlocks
1. You must play a lot to have 2nd Lt. just starting in September.
2. You must have Special Forces to have those unlocks.

do you have Special Forces?
Do you have the expansion (speciel forces)? Because that is what gives you access to the second tier of unlocks. Then you get 2 unlocks pr. rank up, which you may spend freely among 1. and or 2. unlock.
So If you only have the original BF2, then its only unlock 1 for you.

doesnt play that much, 2.5 hours a day...i started in Nov and am now going to be a 2nd Lt soon....
ok thanks ya i do have special forces kit unlocked but i don't have SF
to unlock the other set of unlocks you need to play sf (the expansion pack, not the kit...) for 1 second on a ranked server.

Buy the Special Forces Expansion Pack and unlock those schmancy fancy guns, or even better, have a friend who owns that pack, play there with your account and get the unlocks then, because the pack seems to be a pain in the ass (unduly long loading and verifying times, unpopular maps).
I do prefer the original weapon, though, they add some colour to gameplay.

Ya i play 3 hrs a day on week days and a lot on the weekends.
ive got 2,000 points to go till 2nd luit. and i got the game on the 21st of Dec.

just play one round of SF and youll get all ur unlocks
O nice ya i love playing BF2 and talking to people over VOIP and meet new BF2 friends.
When i play one round of SF do I have to go back to BF2 to get the unlocks or can i get them in SF?
