Are you ever harassed about honour?

OK, this has happened quite a few times recently. The latest was on a server running Sharqi Peninsula yesterday. Im MEC, and so is my squadmate. We run down the stairs to that grassy bit between the Survaillence Post and the Hotel, and we are ambushed by 4 American Medics, However all of them are wielding shock paddles. We just opened fire and mowed them all down with the ak 101 and the mg36, all four of them.

The next thing we know we are getting insulted, and called n00bs for shooting at them when they had paddles out. Granted Im not really that big on battlefield on honour, but if Im in the mood and see someone with a knife ill bust a knife too. However, if these people just almost appear out of no where, 4 of them too, I dont think we had much choice. What do you guys think?

dont worry about the noobs, they were the one in your base with frigin shock paddles out. it is a frigin game.

however, in a real war, if you mowed down a medic helping an enemy out, it is quite dishonorable. but not in this game, in your base..... lol

yea, If I see an enemy come at me with a knife I will pull mine on them, but medics are too powerful in this game to give them a chance. MOW THEM DOWN

thats exactly what i do... I aim at the guy i just killed, kill him as soon as he spawns. because i know how much that sucks to have happen.. then mow down the medic, alot of times they just try and re rez the dead guy haha..

back to the honor...

there is no honor in this game.. kill at all costs... or pull out your knife and have your "fun". Play the way you want to..

A couple of times i've been in a tank and killed 2 guys, then a stupid medic runs in front of my tank to revive them both, then i kill them again, let the medic revive them again, then kill them all.

i abuse pilots for not having the balls to stay in tehre planes when there going down after ive blown there engines out. i mean, thats just not honourable! a captain goes down with his ship!

Though ill side with you on that, MOW THEM DOWN! THe ones i really hate are the shitters who bring out there knives and challenge you, so you bring out your knife and run at them instead of getting an easy kill by shooting, and they then proceed to destroy any dignity and manhood they had by shooting you in the middle of your knife fight with them! after that i just like to hunt them.........hunt them goooood.

Well, I'm sure some of the guys on Law and Order could figure this out, but if they didn't surpize you, by, for example, running across a large open field of fire with shock paddles, and you shot them anyway, when it was absolutely clear that they were just goofing around, then yeah, I think them calling you noobs is somewhat justified.

But, as you implied in your story, they scared the sh*t out of you, then yeah, of course you have the right to kill them. You haven't lost or gained any honor. But, of course, if this were to go to trial, we'd need testimonies from all players from both parties, as well as the Battlerecorder records for further examination at the lab. Right now, we have no way of knowing whether you're just making it up..... hmmmmm.

As for pilots bailing out, I think it's the other way around. Bailing means there's a 50 percent lower chance of the pilot actually making it back to an airplane when it respawns. So dying means that they can get it when it respawns. Depends on your point of view, and the judge.

Paddles are different, they have a much longer range, so I would have gunned them down too

seriously in real life you wouldnt shoot them but this is a game where you spawn again in like 15 seconds, they shouldnt have been stat padding anyway... blatently were stat padding, why do 4 ppl need their paddles out.

I shoot people with knives out, mostly because I don't have time for knife fights that i'm going to eventually lose because my computer sucks so much. I've lost every single knife fight that i've gotten into, I mean that.
