how do i unlock guns?
Earn points to gain rank. Each rank lets you unlock a new weapon.

well that was simple.
in addition, when you get the rank up the next time you head back to the main menu and are not in a game (and EA has updated your stats to recognise your unlock) you will get a window show up that asks you which gun you want to unlock. it'll have a big picture of the gun, some info about it and buttons that say "choose unlock" and "choose later"
oh, and in game, you can switch between the new and old gun at the kit selection/spawn screen. the unlocked gun does not replace the others permanently. i was worried about this when i got my first unlock.
