I've noticed that after I did a system restore and had to reinstall 1.22 it took me alot longer to connect to the account server. Upon installing 1.3 it's taking even longer. Is there a cure?
try deleting your account and retrieving it again

Yeah, it's taking a smidge longer these days. The cure given by liquidat0r helpd shave some time off. I also understand that updating punkbuster can reduce the time by a second or two.
