I just got it like 2 seconds ago, prolly not in stats, but damn! I'm sure everyone has it, or knows to use commander (i did). I'm just happy because its my first expert badge. Do you have it?

- Wow, actually got Expert Air Defense!
Yea, it was a piece of cake in a Linebacker on Ghost Town.
Good job, going for pistol as soon as I meet global req. Will be my seventh Expert badge
Well done mate..welcome to the club of Expert Ground and Air Defence !
Thanks guys, also I heard it wasn't possible to get the European Union ribbon is that true?
i got my vet air defence. tried gettin expert by commanding but aint gettin enough kills lol
Expert ground is hard but I've taken over 60 kills in a linebacker on daqing oilfields.JonnyNuemonic wrote:

Depends on the situation.
Are you allowed to use Linebacker for ground defense?
Try wake Island when the yanks have taken the beach and are advancing towards the Airfield the 2 MG situated in the towers.....some great kills from there....
One sure way for expert ground defence

EA has turned lots of the badges into a Joke. The fact that you can play battlefield for the first time ever, choose commander, sit in a tow and make 4 or 5 successful arties and get an EXPERT badge.
Expert badges should require just a little bit of effort, dont you think?

Ya but who would spend 100hr in air defense.....RD_The_Dog wrote:

Quite easy to get nowadays.
Its funny, now everyone has expert ground defence and air defence.. I myself have 23 experts...
opps, i have 24 experts not 23...
Hmm never thought about using arty to get the kills....just always did it on my own. Expert ground is harder to get than expert air though. I only have vet on both of em anyway
Since Anti-Air is a big joke in this game, even on a full lock without flares from the best possible position it will mis its target, so my guess is no one.AdamBenson wrote:

I guess I got mine the hard way on Kubra Dam in the AA vehicle.AdamBenson wrote:

Hehe, it didn't even realize that the AA vehicle counts for Air Defence until 1.2. Got my Basic Air Defence the HARD way. Then a few days ago I had a realy good round in the Linebacker on Ghost town and got both Veteran and Expert Air Defence. Never expected that to be my first expert badge.
Good luck with that one it took me ages to get 18 kills in a round with the pistol. And it's a pain in the arse working hard for a expert like the knife badge and then found out, like i did, that a mate just logged in one day and had it with out even trying.PBAsydney wrote:

Still Congrats on the Badge
Exp. Pistol was a bitch and a half. It was harder then knife!sir_not_appearing_in wrote:

But it was damn rewarding.
Hint: When you're going for badges, relax and only try a round or two. Break, eat, relax, go again. I got it my second or third attempt. All you need is focus.
17 kills IAR with pistol? Play sniper. L96 to the chest, quickly change to pistol, then mash the trigger till he drops. Works like a beauty

IMHO, i think they just should have lowered the time req to like 15 hrs for vet and 30 for expert
i mean, 100 hrs in an AA vehicle? that's a COMPLETE waste of 4 days of your life...
PS- how the HELL did you get 60 kills in an AA vehicle?
I got Vet and Expert all in the same round. Working on my Vet Explsoive and Armor badge.
I never tried to get any AA badge but got a couple the other day. I alwyas had to try to get badges but this one seemed to have came to me. LOL. Yea!
It isn't actually that easy as if you take a shot with your rifle on a player without full health that stuffs up your count. When i did it i was running around with pistol drawn. It was awhile ago now so im sure there is a better way but the sniper thing didn't do it for me. I kept finding the players with out full health. But as the man above said it is probably the most rewarded i have felt out of all my badgesRD_The_Dog wrote:
