I was wondering. I think im a decent pilot. But Feel like im missing out on things. What are some good wiki's besides the few that pop up in google?

also what are your Joystick settings?  i have my sens about 5.10, yaw 3 and pitch 4

what do you use?

and for chopper guys is the track ball really the best?

thankz~

btw mine is a Saitek evo wireless. A bit stiff sometimes,  been looking at the logitech, the new one.

The best way to get better flying, or to see how good you are, is to fly against someone else in Teamspeak and communicate what the other person did right or wrong and learn from it.

My jotstick sens is at about 2, you don't want it too high otherwise you can't control your MG straifing, and you dont want it too low so you cant turn.
To become a better jetter the main thing is practise. Find wake servers with 1-2 players in them and dogfight with them for 30mins - 1 hour everyday. Bombing, well read the aviator guide on the BF2S site.

really hah. ya when i bought the game 3 weeks later i got a new joystick. my old Wingman was crap.

i tried a few times with the mouse n keys..but gave up and hoofed it for a while...i never flew in 1942 ever.. so i firgured a joystick was the best option with bf2.

i lowred the sens down to 2.3 and pitch 2, yaw 1.....70% better! im not fighting the Yoke trying to be sterady on those strafe runs now!

ill practice with the Key n mouse later on the lan see if i can get any better or not

I'm not sure if there are still servers running it since 1.3 - but WakeAirShow was/is the best training map for dogfighting.

I played this map one night nonstop, sometimes you have about 15 jets in the air.
After practicing there for a few hours my missile attacks became really deadly, you quickly learn how the missiles turn and when you got a sure shot or when it's gonna miss even with a lock-on.

When you then play on a normal map you can be a lot more relaxed with only 2 fighters on the whole map.
For bombing practice I would just try singleplayer, the F15 is a good trainer for bombing.

I don't see how a trackball would be any good to fly a chopper unless the sensitivity is like maxed.
