Mines apparently quite pathetic and i'd probably quite agree if I knew what it meant! lol

but it's something like 0.51432 or something like that, so does that mean I kill 0 people to every 51432 times I die!?!

Help me out here please fellas,

Cheers.

It means how many times you killed WITH that weapon VERSUS how many times you've died WITH that weapon in your hands.

Misconception: It is NOT how many times you have been killed by that weapon.

Well there's more than one K:D ratio listed.
Your overall K:D is your total kills divided by total deaths, it means nothing but is a way of comparing how many times you kill to each death.
Individual weapon K:D ratios are, as Nyte said, your kills with that weapon, divided by your deaths when holding that weapon.
You could easily raise your K:D on a specific weapon by switching to another when you think you're in danger of dying.

Yes, I used to think that. I wish there were a way to know how many times you're killed with various things...

whats going on?

it means roughly that you die twice for every kill you get, multiply it by 100 to get the percentage, ie you kill 51% of the time you are killed.

did noone else go to school?

ah this is why i'm shit at bf2 but can do maths

i think i made the wrong choice
