If they gave people an award for bunyhopping they'd stop right quick.
i hate bunny jumping but it does protect you from splash damage. what are you going to do? not use it when everybody else does? that would put you at a disadvantage. i think there are many people who don't like it but are force to use it cause its effective. i don't exagerate with it but do use it now and then...it works:( if ea were to do something to make it ineffective, i would be the first to say hoorah!
Bunnyhopping should be harder to do as it is now. You can jump 2 feet in the air CONTINIOUSLY. Some guy said jumping in the air 2 feet isnt hard. Well, I suggest you do it for a minute. Not more, not less. Look how exhausted you are. Im wonderinf if you can carry an m60. (The big machinegune, like PKM in bf2).
No, bunnyhopping is silly. If they would patch it somehow that in the air, your hit percentage goes up, meaning: someone that is shooting at you does more damage. This is more realistic too because you expose ur full body.
Just a thought. Would be a smart idea to bring out a new patch with fixes for the bunnyhopping and the m203 and Gp30. (GL).
GL fix idea could be including 3 shells i.o. 4/5 (dunno exactly). More damage to vehicles, cuz the gl is the advatage of being assault. Making the GL weak wouldnt be samrt beacause no one would be assault kit anymore.

Please just shut up about this people...you can't do anything about this. Besides, any kind of tactic like this should be defeated by good aiming. Try going prone against me when I have a G36, L85, or a sniper rifle and I'll show you how to get to hell.

I must confes that I occasionally panic and start jumping when I come around the corner and a guy starts blasting at me. I also have trouble switching weapons with my scroll wheel and occasionally jump while underfire to try and buy time to equip a weapon. I can't hit anything while hopping, so I usually stop to shoot. I saw a funny post in another forum where a guy had fabbed up a "bunny hopper ribbon" It was hillarious. I heard that they were thinking about changing it in the next patch to where you could no longer hop when you ran out of stamina. That should fix it. As to cheaters, yall need to play on servers that don't allow that behavior. I don't know how to post an image to the forums outside of my signature.

Can anyone quickly point out why the jump function has been put in the game? I dont remember having to jump for anything! get on a roof by ladder, in a vehicle by pressing E! Why do you need to have this function, Purely for the top clans and ppl who enjoy pissing everyone else off by doing it(bunny hopping).! I also think that bunny hopping sucks ass. It's really lame. I think the main problem with it is that the lamers that use M203/GP30, can use it from so close. Other day on Karkand, this guy is like 1 metre away from me and he kills me with gl, without killing himself. How is this possible???, a grenade would normally blow his ass up as well. As for fixing the problem, i dont think it can be done without getting rid of the assault class, because if you make hopping a disadvantage to the lamers that use it, they'll just go and find another exploit to use and the assault class will then become completely worthless.
One thing that does work at bunny hoppers at close range is the knife. Just whip knife out and charge at them, using sprint and stab them on their way down, trust me it works if your half decent with knife. I did it to the same guy twice without him killing me and the third time he didn't bother hopping, he just played properly. Turns out it didn't matter anyway cos i stil killed him, lol.

Friggin people are amazing. You guys complain about everything. If somone uses armor often...they are deemed a "tank whore" which is considered lame. Someone flys a plane often....they are "plane whores" which is lconsidered ame. Someone jumps to stay alive....they are "bunnyhoppers" and that is considered noob as well as lame. Someone uses a M203, that is noob and lame. The fact is, if somone uses a tactics to stay alive, whether you morons like it or not, is the sign of a non noob player. I love it when you people say that bunnyhopping looks stupid or takes away from the reality of the game. Hello!!! I guess in real life someone can take 4 or 5 shots from an M4 and keep running as if nothing has happened. Or how about the people running around throwing C4 at you like they were grenades. Im sure that really happens on the front lines of real life combat too. Then you talk about aim being a sign of skill. I agree and it happens that the M203, at range, is probably the hardest weapon to aim because of the arc. The M203 is also the only hand held weapon, aside from the anti-tank, that kills in one shot with splash damage. Youd have to be a noob not to use something that gives you an edge over your enemy.

...on top of that....................................bunny hopping (IMVHO) seems so lame. I understand that I'm not going to change your mind, because (it seams from your post, please correct me if I'm wrong) that to you the game is purely a maths lesson; about accumulating numbers and statistics. If that's the case wouldn't you save money on video games by just buying a calculator, typing in '1++' then pressing '=' till you get bored?
my clan had a scrim last night, the other clan was complaining that we jumped around too much. Meanwhile they had people bunny hopping and frog hopping all over. Still didn't matter, we went 5-0 over all.
Best way to kill a bunny hopper or frog hopper is slow burst fire and grenades. throw a few grenades around them, they most likely will have no burst left to get away. And burst fire so you don't waste all your ammo, I usually hit one out of 4 shots against a bunny hopper, so I usually kill them before my clip is out, worse comes to worse I whip out my pistol to finish them off.
