pls help...its about EF

I just recently bought EF and tried to play it....it said i had modifeid content and such...so i thought i must have to install the patch again...but it wouldnt let me so i had to reinstall BF2 again then the patches...this also uninstalled EF. now the thing is its not installed,but when i go into the EAD it tells me "to play now"....i would like to know how i reinstall EF or where/if its somewhere on my drive.....because it beats me how to do it!

EA Downloader should be able to re-install it, no? Is that how you got it?

There's a setup file

If that doesn't help... delete everything in the "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Downloader\cache/username" folder and download it again

umm i have the same prob. i did what tupla said and.........nothin still where i started please help!!!!!! i think its cause i forgot my password so i made a new account on ead and now im tryin to use my old one. but how do i fix it???

when I had this problem i had to uninstall EVERYTHING;
reinstall the basic bf2 discs,
install EF
install the patches

make sure your ingame nick match your downloader nick

This of course assumes the user installed windows on the c:\ drive. I have windows installed on my d:\ and n:\ drives...

what if my ingame user name and dler nick dont match. how do i change it everytime i try it say that ingame nick is already used and thats by my other ea downloader account

If u have two EA Accounts do this

If you receive the error message that your GameSpy ID or Battlefield 2 nickname is already in use, you have connected your ID to a different account.

If the above does not work please try the following:

1. Login to each of your EA Accounts by clicking here.
2. Locate your Battlefield 2 login name by reviewing your accounts.
3. Once the name is found replace it with your email address or another GameSpy ID you own.
4. When the Battlefield 2 name has been removed login to EA Downloader and follow the steps listed above.

You will now be able to successfully apply your Battlefield 2 login name to EA Downloader to have access to your online content.
