I use a 1.1mbps ADSL conection and I'm constantly being kicked for a high ping.

Cheaters have ridiculoasly hight pings, not: "over 100" which I have frequently.

Anyone else had similar experiences?

If so then Server Admins: "You've been told!"

Yeh probably but it's for the good of the game I guess because I wouldn't want too lag everyone up... I sometimes get kicked for high pings too.

server admins can set the ping at which it will auto kick. we have ours set lower than the recommended (300) to 250 cause, well, cause 250 is really high.... maybe some server admins cranked it way down to kick for over 100... which is dumb cause if your connection has a hiccup and you go over 100 for a sec.... bye bye
