Ok, you may remember about 3-4 pages back I said L96 users shouldn't be considered snipers. Yeah, that was a stupid theory. Fact is, its got its ups and downs as well. It actually does have the most bullet drop but it does have the faster reload times and thinner crosshairs. Ever since I've got it, I find myself taking for granted that the gun will kill for me but thats not the case.
The L96 is just as good as the user or in my case my graphics card. I can't pull off and dont be ss carrier stunt or bsically nething over 400m w/o choppy and sometimes lost connection type lag. Whenever someone goes past 375m they just disappear. It's kind of frusterating and I looked at dont_be_ss's post about lengthening view distances. Tried most of it on high and such but I got too much lag (i only have 512 ram and 6600 256mb Nvidia).
What's the point of this post? Am I trying to kiss up? I hope not. Do I still have a lot to learn about sniping? A little more yes. Do I have a lot of time? No and I can thank 2142 for that.
Neway, Sniper competition saturday. Hopefully I can hide behind trees so guys like tahadar, a mere shadow and the ss brothers don't shoot me from 600m with their high end cards
