Have you tried out one of our Euro ranked servers (Mayhem, Bedlam or Chaos), these are also based in the UK but are in the same data centre as the PTG servers and running on a very similar machine. If I have to move to that box then I may not be able to have battlerecorder running so I'd rather not.
I appreciate that the location of the box gives an advantage to the Euro players and so if this is popular I'll consider running a US leg as well (and Australasian if the desire is there) but I only had a few days to set this up which meant I couldn't organise a US box in time.
If you come along we'll consider a ping handicap and the more people we get there the more likely a US leg will be.

Players making kills with any other kit will be removed from the server for the rest of the round.
All sniper weapons are ok
No limits on which weapon is used to make kills as long as it's in the sniper kit.
(Knife, Pistol, Sniper Rifle, Nades, Claymores)
Vehicles for transport only
You can use vehicles to get about but not to kill.
Players getting kills with any vehicle weapon (including fixed emplacement weapons) will be removed from the server for the rest of the round.
No player commanders
Only admins will be commanders
Standard DMZ server rules apply
We don't have many but they stand for this game, read them here.
In short: No TKing (obvious), Queue for vehicles (1st to spawn point drives), Show respect (no excessive abuse or swearing), No cheats (hack and be gone), No high pings (anything over 200 effects others game and so will be removed).

Over the whole evening:
Longest confirmed kill
After the event you can submit a screenshot of up to two kills that will then have the distance verified from the battlerecordings.
The screenshot must show your location, the kill message and the time remaining in the game and be accompanied by detail of which round it was from.

Extreme pistol use
Extreme rifle use
Extreme nade use
Extreme claymore use
If you think you got more kills with any of these weapons than anyone else in a single round then you need to submit a request to be checked, again this will be verified with battlerecorder.
Entries must include your player name, the weapon you are submitting for, the map played and the round on that map.
Sniper of the day
People who take part in the event (as shown by the end of round boards) can nominate a sniper of the day (not themselves)
Capping a celebrity
Who are the BF2S sniper celebrities? If we can get a list of the known bad-asses here then anyone not on the list capping one who is on the list in a spectacular way can submit the details of this (with screenshot if possible) and they will be judged upon.
All entries must be in by the end of the weekend.
Results will be announced as soon as possible after this deadline.
