In true EA form they have provided me with yet again, another patch which has taken me hours so far to download, install and try to get back to my online play.
Firstly, I downloaded incremental 1.3 from EA site and installed. Crashed to desktop before reaching EA GAMES title screen.
Secondly, I downloaded the FULL 1.3 patch - Worked! Or so I thought until today, when I go to play and same crash to desktop again.
Now I have read through various posts here and followed various bits of advice.
I have changed file names to make things quicker, updated punkbuster, uninstalled and reinstalled. All on other forum users advice Still nothing.
I finally re installed and followed advice again and shutdown all processes under my username apart from taskmanager and explorer. WORKS !!
Well when I say works I can now get to my retrieve account screen ( as I uninstalled it ) but it wont accept my password! Have clicked forgotten password which takes me to gamespyid, changed my password there, still nothing. How else can I get my password????? I know what it is, it just wont accept it!!
Anyone with any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
