Death with a wrench.

As im fairly sucsessfull with a shotty ingame my k/d ratio with it dosent reflect it. So im wondering if dying with a wrench in your hand as a engie counts as a death with you main gun? Im doing a lot of reparing and dying so i was starting to wonder.

If you look at my k/d with shottys it's a dead even. Cant get this to add upp.

I dunno...I know if you the defibrilator out, it counts as a death against your defibrilator....I think it doesn't go to any weapon, because the wrench isn't a weapon, but rather goes to your ovrerall deaths, your deaths as an engineer, and, if you were in a vehicle at the time (say a BH or jeep) to your deaths in that vehicle.

ahh, only if you could run up behind a sniper and whack him on the head with your wrench, lolol, who needs a blade. i do belive this counts under total deaths though and not even on a weapon class but now ill have to try it to see, hehehe.

Yeah, I've died many times with a medpack in hand and I've always tried to figure out what weapon category does the death go.

I could test it! (Save your statpage, go play and just die with medpack/wrench/ammobag in hand, and leave, and check which death-stat is now 1 death more)

Yea being able to kill ppl with ur wrench would be shit hot... i would like to be able to do that

nah, a big metal club to the head is more than enough to kill. maybe 2 body hits, but still.

and Guruz, if you do that make sure you leave a gap before and after you play so as to not have other game statistics showing up late.

I know, I just didn't mention it because I thought everybody understood that part.

I'm going to do it now, havent played in 13 hours

EDIT: ok now onto the waiting till the stats update..
