Why all the complicated calculations?

Just take the "Total time" from the kits section of your stats and subtract it from your overall total time.

In my opinion, this gives you the exact time you have been dead. It also takes revives into account and when you didn't spawn right after 15 seconds because you were waiting for another point to be captured or you were typing a message.

Maybe my thinking is wrong on this, but I believe the result really is the absolutely exact time of your being dead.

But then there are those few rare occasions where you do die but somehow you're revived.
