what about a vehicle say like a recovery tank that could be air dropped and driven by engineers only that repairs tank and other vehicles and has say a 30mm cannon on it with a GPMG on top? and this could survive about 4 tank rounds?

Extremely unrealistic, but could make for some very interesting game play...

Seeing as these sort of things actually exsist i would say yes, 4 tank shots sounds a bit to much, i would say 2 or 33. As i doubt these would be as slow as tanks in between the speed of apc and tank.

I like it but how about having a forward support vehicle too? (not air dropped).  A soft-skinned or lightly-armored forward support vehicle, operated by anyone that resupplies, heals and allows you to change kits if you get into the back of it?

lol I know it would be a bullet magnet and ground-zero for artillery strikes.  It would be like a moving supply crate with a .50 cal MG on top and kits inside. Better yet give it an auto-grenade launcher up top. Then people would actually use it even if it is a bullet magnet.
