So 1.3 has finally started working for me, can't tell why all of a sudden the game is stable again. Must have been that goat I sacrificed in the backyard.

Anyway, now I realize how obnoxious it is to have a vehicle dropped on you. I am an occasional sniper and I was having a fantastic game, obviously noticed by the enemy commander. He made it his mission about half way through the round to drop vehicles on me for the rest of the game. I think I got squashed 3 times. Just completely uncool.

I hate the vehicle drop for a number of reasons. Getting one dropped on my head while sniping by either commander is only one.

Yeah I will agree it is annoy to have a vehical dropped on you (or your arty for that matter) but I actually like having them around, I always seem to get stuck in the middle of nowhere.....

I find that the game has slowly stabilized - now its practically at 1.22 stability. Only connection-losses are server side. And I know for a fact that they have been going on for a few months (FIX THE DAMN SERVER INTERNODE!).

I don't see why you're complaining. If you're taking out the other team (like ou should be), than what kind of idiot WOULDN'T drop vehicles on you? A free sniper-killer every minute!

When I am commander, and have a free vehicle to drop after a scan, of course I go for the lone sniper camped on the roof! Or the guy sitting in the AA gun.

it is so fun! One round there was no asks for vehicle drop, so I droped it all the time on head of snipers. There was some noob who camped all the time one place, after 3th kill, I was sorry about him, his score was in minuses, I wrote him in chat to move away.
Now as a commander you dont have to send arty to save a flag, just drop vehicle

when you chinese commander on wake or a other map with carrier is fun just check on the carrier if more then 3 ppl are waiting for a jet or something(in the case that you drop a buggy if you drop a a kind of jeep like thing then more then 4 ppl need to stand on the spot) cause if there are 5 ppl standing there al holding E to get in the jet they will 3 guys will go in the buggy you just dropped but the other 2 well lets say the 1st one in the buggy(driver) will get 2 tk's funny tactic

If you were to STOP CAMPING/SPAWN RAPING & keep moving then you wouldn't have a problem with Cartillery (you gotta love that expression! )
Personally, when Commander I give vehicles to those that ask for them first but if they are going unused - then its 'death from above' time baby!!

Well your obvously not that good a sniper.. Manouevre and be aware of your surroundings then you wont get squished.

Is it me or is using cartillery to destroy the enemy's assets a stupid exploit? It does make the spec-ops class slightly less useful and it means that your artillery will almost always be down because the enemy commander keeps dropping jeeps on it.

kinda annoying indeed, but if it is used against you, best way to strike back is doing the same (as commander)

So I played commander last night and dropped vehicles on people and assets willy nilly. Killed 5-6 that way. Revenge yes, but it's still cheesy. Maybe if the vehicle drop didn't recycle so fast it would be conserved by the commander instead of winging them all over the battlefield.

I've single handidly save a couple flags that were in the process of being taken by one person who decided it would be best to sit in the turret of a humvee.

car from above + car below = instant explosion

and THANK YOU EA, because of a persistent enemy commander who used EVERY vehicle drop on my teams artillery, I got 25 repair points IAR. Screen shots and a thread later on...
