probably 2months away, as soon as 2142 comes out dont expect anymore patchs for bf2, or anyone to play it for that matter
prolly never, they made the req for everything easier /w 1.3 b/c they want ppl to feel they've completely accomplished the game, then get bored, then buy 2142. EA/Dice do not care bout BF2, they've moved on to the next "big" thing......2142....ugh

its not as easy as u think it takes awhile they have to test EVERYTHING, they have to test to see if u get 100 points in a round, that it doesnt crash, u have to test rockets against planes, trust me ive test games before
Generally, its not just BF2 personel that test the patches either, they also get players to do it, to see if the players can find anything unusual. So yes, it does take time. People need to be patient, its not as easy as you all think to patch games.
