these guys came with the news that a new patch is in the works an features a new free map (road to jalalbad < dont mind the spelling) finally E.A are supporting there game it took a while but it finally happend THANK YOU E.A AND DICE

i listen to it i dont get the video version .. but from wat i herd there is no screenshots or any detail about the map..but the players on the server are named BFTEST etc so i think we its official =] who wants hugs =]

sounds an aweful lot like karkand =] name of the town sounds arab so yer 95% sure it will be mec V u.s

owe and i forgot to mention there will be a INFENTRY ONLY option ... instead of conquest =] cant wait for that 1 either sounds spine tingly

Yeah they all have tags/names like BFtest and [DICE]... It's very likely it's a new map, like Wake 2007, and it was about damn time if you ask me, though I realllly hope they put the squadhopping thing back in the game, that has destroyed the teamwork aspect completely in the game.

And, I hope they do something about those vehicle drops, it's been made advantage of it in an unfair way .

Yeah I read that too, infantry only, man I have waited a whole year for that now! Man that will be SO MUCH FUN fighting without !@$# tanks!

Well, I could also imagine Road to Jalalabad will be a map with helicopters and airplanes, instead of a Karkand like map...

Would be cool to have a Karkand like map WITH airplanes if you ask me, especially with the option to turn vehicles off!

The other day, i checked GameMonitor.... There was a server titled "Jihad2" and it was running the Map: Road to Jalalabad...it also had a new setting that no other BF2 server had, so possibly some new Ranked server options for admins. This was an official server as it was ranked, and all the players where "BFTEST" players

Wasn't there another map as well as Road to Jaliabad??
Anyway, I still have faith in Dice/EA to a point, every patch so far has had some sort of fuck up, 1.3's is the server instability. Hopefully 1.4 (guessing it's 1.4 as it's adding content not just fixing bugs) will get rid of that, and hopefully the ever so lovely Karkand wall bug that every man and his dog are using nowadays.
