I know BF2 is an arcade shooter and things are nerfed and nerfed to get some the balance in the game .

But they introduce new jets, such as the A10 ,
let's be serious, it is slow and doesn't turn very well, once you get a lock on you and flares are already gone, you are going to die . the canons won't do to much damage .

BUT WATCH THIS , the mobile AA , two rockets destroy jet, normal, but TWO bullets destroy jet ? this ain't normal , if you don't believe it, just try it yourself .
And with the tunska (or whatever it's name is) , jets melt from the bullets.

But you hear about the A-10 being like uber powerful and all like that. Like i heard a guy say that an A10 had lost one engine and the one wing was barely on and managed to fly back to base.

Yeah, thats where it got its Nickname teh Warthog, because it can get shot to sh1t and limp back to the air base with the pilot unscaved... their cockpit is covered in titanium.

I've never tested it out, but it seems like all the jets and helichoppers are easier to destroy after they've spawned and no one has used them yet than they are when they are in use.
