I was short my Basic Knife and Basic Pistol and quickly approaching 20k for my next promotion. So I spent a few days working on trying to get them. Well I got them... but not until after I eclipsed 20,000 points. Now it's been 2 days and my ranking still shows Master Sergeant... instead of First Sergeant. Do I not get the extra ranking because I passed 20,000 points before I got the Knife and Pistol badges?
You will not get first sergeant because you got the requirements after the 20k mark.
