Dis-credited kills?

Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked before.

But I want to ask if a kill would be dis-credited if you died the moment before the kill occured? It has happened quite a few times to me that I launched a AT or blast off a C4 that I'm pretty sure was a kill but I got gunned down right before it hit and I got no notification of my kill.

Or am I just imagining my greatness?

one of the long-standing grudges in the battlefield 2 community is the discrepency between local animations and server action registration. so yes, you are imagining. if you didn't see it happen in chat, then as far as the server (and your score) are concerned, it didn't happen.
