I was wandering around in the Localization File just now and noticed an awful lot of lines referring to LASER guided missiles, NOT CRAPPY TV Guided missiles.

HUD_TEXT_LASERTARGET_TARGET_AQUIREDTARGET AQUIRED

So how about a kit, Spec-ops maybe, with a Lightweight Laser Designator Rangefinder or something very similar. This used in tandem with a good pilot to remove Arty or even the all elusive destructible environments.

it refers to the laser guidied missiles inn the 2 seated planes.....

No, this is talking about the SIMIRAD it was originally planned to be in the Spec Ops kit but was taken out before release.

Exactly (I guess, never heard of a SIMIRAD)!!!! So where the hell is my tripod with freakin' lasers attached to its head?

This could bring in an objective based map. For a quick example, blow up the missile, the control room and fuel depot on Surge.
