Does everyone here hate EA?

I mean c'mon....you spend $50 on a game that gives you at least 250 hours of fun gaming and most everyone here is griping about bugs or poor gameplay or hackers or whatever ad nauseum.

I realize that its usually only the negative aspects that get pushed to the forefront, but just so you know...there are some of us who don't experience too many problems. The odd crash and the odd bug is certainly acceptable to me after having played for 300+ hours (can't remember exactly). That seems pretty proven to me.

I love the game and I love the improvements the patches have brought. (although vehicle drops is a little over the top).

Just figured this deserved a post cuz everyone else likes to bitch about EA. I happen to prefer EA games.

I think EA does some pretty dumb things but I don't mind it too much because I love BF2 so much. It will take some serious fuck-ups for me to stop playing this game.

If my computer didn't take so long to load each map and server I join, I would enjoy the gaming aspect of BF2 so much more but that's just something I have to put up with till then but I have no problems with EA. Been around EA since earlier console days of Jungle Strike all the way through their computer age since Command & Conquer and before then through sister companies they had such as Bullfrog and the never forgotten Maxis.

Yeh I understand but I just dont like crashing to desktop alot.. I dont mind all that gun nerfing or whatever... I wanna play... If I can play i'm happy.

But then again I dont complain about when I crash to desktop because no-one here really cares am I right?

Anyway +1 for making a anti-anti EA post :S

At first, we like EA, because they came up with this game.
After a while, we start hating EA, because they start creating patches were only the whining bitches are happy with (you know, the kind that can't get kills because we hop and dive like crazy), mostly they have a negativ k/d ratio. Then they go whining at EA with comments like "omfg, because of those l33ts I can't get kills, can u, EA, plz fuck up the game so I can get kills? plz! PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I don't hate EA. I don't like the ways they are making booster packs. I think they should be just patches especially since with the last to booster packs the only thing that was added was 6 maps and a few new vehicles.

think of what EA would do if they read this no more Battlefield games period but anyway i do think they have been coming out with games that are not as good as they could be and charging too much just to make money i mean BF2 is great but BF1942 was excellent i guess EA gone greedy next they will charge 60$ for Bf2142 and start making u pay for patches lol

well they fucked up by issuing the latest fucking arsed up botch of a patch so yeah people will moan and bitch on the positive side its bloody addictive but please EA sort the next fucking issue up

I don't like the policy of EA of having to control every aspect of the game. They put out the possibility to allow global unlocks on unranked servers with patch 1.3, and things like that make me go "WTF?!", or just think of the crappy battle browser and even minor issues like the mouse pointer going back to the middle of the screen after you changed a key bind in the options.
That and the little variety in the gameplay ... every map has to have tanks in it, and as a server admin you just cannot mod them out.

EA is a representative of Dice and are responsible for Dice's work on BF2.

Why did you get a -1 for your previous post? Anyway, I dont mind EA too much, yeah Ive done my bitching. And they remind me of Microsoft in the sense that they release a patch, to fix a patch, that fixed a patch before it. Every patch has bugs, and they release new ones to fix those bugs, but the new one has something else wrong. It happens.....but I dont prefer it. I play C&C Generals from time to time, which is made by EA. Im sure I have other games, but I like BF2 too much to just give it up because of previous patch. Oh yeah, that $50 I paid for it has something to do with it as well lol

Ahh sorry, you are right. I have to admit, I quoted hearsay, is it possible to have all weapons unlocked on unranked server with patch 1.3? I think thats what I've read.

HONESTLY.. i love EA and the games they produce... and HONESTLY... i hate those motherfuckers with a passion because they do little to actually improve the in-game experience... i mean honestly... there could be more weapons... unlocks....features... and yes, MAPS. i mean, i love kark and sharq as much as every other guy. but honestly... they do little to keep fans interested. Im not gonna lie, i love the game... im a great shot which carries over from the Quakes and UTs and CSs but they could give better army experience. 2142 IS A JOKE....im switching to quakewars, finally someone who knows how to make a good FPS is making a Strategy based FPS.... We all know 2142 is gonna be crap.. The whole series is gonna go down the tubes from there until they realize that the fanbase is in the modern realistic warfare ... or creating a good fun FPS, they will not succeed... so yeah
