I tried to play bf2 and it said my battlefield 2 exe was missing i looked in my program flies ea then bf2 and sure enough it really is gone how did i delete my exe w/o even going into my folder?

Incidentally, randomly dissapearing files is sometimes associated to hard drive damage, somthing for you to check on.

Have you tried searching for it? If it was inadvertently deleted (although I have no idea how that could have happened by accident) it could well be in the Recycle Bin and you'd just need to restore it (right-click, top option).
