Boys,

I'm flying to Austin, Texas this week.  Only for 2 nights.  What is there to do there?  Anything in particular I should checkout?  Good bars?  Good Clubs?  Historic spots?  Other interesting stuff?

I've been watching King of the Hill episodes to get me pumped up for the big trip.

If you are into music, then you will be happy. Oh yea check out the moonlight towers. I'm not from Austin, but have been through there years ago. I know some of those people from KOTH. Keep an eye open, you'll probably see someone from the show.lol

Went there on business a couple of times. Great music scene.  Great city to party, but errr... I don't remember to much of that. Also check out the bat bridge at sunset.

Im in San Antonio. If u were coming here then I would start naming good places 2 go. But I dont go into austin that much.

Then head over to Mount Bonnell during the day to relax and check out the views.

For sure 6th street Live music like you wouldn't believe.  Mount Bonnell is nice too.  I'd try to go out to The Oasis on Lake Travis at sunset for the view if nothing else (food's not that bad either).....oh yeah.

For some great original Texas BBQ, hit the Iron Works off Cesar Chavez (1st street).  Good luck on 6th street, hope you remember your time there :-)
