Some medals can be earned multiple times and the server reports the number. i.e. Gold, silver and Bronze medals.

The Purple Heart can also be earned multiple times, but the server does NOT report that.

Is this a BUG? or is there some good reason.

do you really want people to know you've "earned" the Purple Heart more than once?

I made the Purple heart twice.. sometimes I just wont give up on this "friggin" tank-spawn-raper.. and well.. You have been acommodated for a REWARD.. LOL

Lol the funny part is....i actually had to work towards getting my purple heart. Lol kinda sad when you force yourself to die 20 times so you can get this award.

I tried and tried but i was never able to get this bloody medal... but i dont see the point of gettin this medal... I think the only way i can get this medal is to commit suicide 20 times

i got it twice too, once going after vetern knife (before the prepatch give away) and the second time going for expert first aid.

I still have never gotten 1, i dont see why everyone cries in a corner when they hear "purple heart" was it really that bad? how do you get 5/20?

One guy in a server was doing reeeally bad. He was a corporal and he didn't know if the engineer could fix broken things. So, I'm playing, enjoying myself, and the chat was real quiet. The only thing showing was commo rose commands. Then, all of a sudden, he says "what does a purple heart mean?"

It was a free for all. Everyone on the server never left him alone about it for the rest of the round.

And suprisingly, I don't have it yet.
