Almost all basic badges and a bunch of ribbons.

Just got expert engineer combat, was apc whoring on a slow karkand game, got it near the end, then I got 100 br score for my golden scimitar! Yay. Didn't expect either of those.

vet tactical weapondry... I hadn't played SF in a month and then i spawned as a sniper and i got it within 10 seconds of sawning

Yeah, and the two medals (marksman and the 'next) which I got just for patching. I our clan there is a lot of laughter that you get medals for patching (Patch medals). But on the other hand, when I think back to all the troubles I had with those patches it might be ok

Meritorious Unit Ribbon, when I first started playing. It started me on my ribbon rampage.

Yeah, same here.  I get too pissed off at myself when I'm actually *going* for an award.  Most all of mine were just by chance.  I found I have more fun just playing, and being surprised when I'm given an award.  I have tried, at times, to get an award, but end up getting pissed at myself and not having any kind of fun.  So screw it, I'll just play and if I get an award, cool, if not, oh well, it's not like I'm not gonna play another round.

i got some squad medal which i forgot after 1.3 came out.  i was trying ot get IAR kills with medic while in a squad when it just came....

when i was commander, i got basic ground defense without even knowing it, lol, it was funny

I Was playing as a commander on a 32 player karkand server... then near the end of the round (bout 10 tickets left) i hear the drum sound, took down the comm screen and see that i had got the Expert Engineer Combat Badge.. i then relized that i had arty:ed 40 ppl in that round.... talk about luck

got my expert knife when 1.3 came out.. really hated that as I wanted to get it the old fashioned way..

Yea loads of them. I hardly ever try for awards cause i play the game for fun and thats my main priority but i only needed about 8 hours for vet sniper and vet sniper was the last badge i needed for the marksman infantry medal. So hellhead, a good friend of me, gave me a crash course in sniping and i recently got vet sniper without using vehicles. I gave up on the damn medal after trying for it for a week or so and i got it a couple of round after i decided to give up. I was just practicing with my m95 and defending the flags where i spawned with 2 claymores.
