dude. i know you can cap flags and get team points. it isnt about that, medics cap flags AND get reg. team points and every other class except AT and assault (but AT has rockets...),  that is what this is about.

I meant what about their kit points, jackass. Snipers do not have kit points either (claymores dont count).

Only 4 classes get kit points:

Spec Ops- blow assets
Support- resupply
Engineer- repair
Medic- heal/revive

Spec Ops blow up vehicles/guys, Engies/AT kill armor, Snipers lay claymores, but you do not get kit points for these kills. And while we're on the "all fair" subject, why doesn't everyone have the same armor/sprint distance? Assault already has a lot going for it, the last thing they need are pity points thrown their way.

Lol, I knew what you ewre talking about, calm down. I said the same thing earlier in my posts and missed sniper, but got AT. Assault has alot going for them.......... G3....... ........ G3....... and of course........ the G3........ alot goin for them........... wait!! the G3 too.

Assault has the best guns in the game with a grenade launcher attached (bar the F2000), body armor, smoke/flash, and a grappling hook in SF.

Best guns, many people would dispute that... what with the PKM the G36E and whatnot.

The nade launcher is horrible to aim, or is that just me, probably just me, nvm to that fact.

Smoke/flash? Oh you mean the flashbang, that smoke nade is just that... THAT smoke nade, not THOSE smoke nades, lol. Flashbangs are good...

Grappling hook in SF.. yeah, no vodniks. But yeah... in SF. So does AT. lol

AK-101 and AK-47 are also medic guns. And yeah, assualt does have body armour and that helps but the medic can heal themselves after a close shave so that's a big plus too.

Assault players should get an extra 2 points for every flag capture and flag capture assist.

If it had been that way from the begining, I'd almost be Sergeant Major.

I play assault and I think everything is fair.

Team points are exactly that.  Medics help their teammates by healing, support by resupplying, engineer by repairing, Spec Ops by removing enemy assets.  AT and Assault don't help their teammates other than killing stuff, but that's your duty.  It's all the kits' duty to kill.  Assault is supposed to be frontline.  Being in front means you're the first to reach a flag.  There's your team points.

The problem is that with the Assault classes short sprint, the medic is able to heal a guy, revive another guy, kill an enemy, shoot another for a kill assist off the Assault guy's kill, and STILL have a fighting chance to make it to the flag first.  I usually play medic, I know, I've done it.  Happens most often at the City Entrance flag on Sharqi and Square on Karkand for some reason.

Assault needs the full sprint or at least a 3/4 sprint and at the G3 should have 3 smoke nades, cause it's just worthless to have only one and it otherwise has 2/3 the ammo of all the other assault weapons.

Anyway, the class that needs the most help is AT, you have to hit a tank with 3 rockets to even get the kill damage assist against it, and that will on average take you 2 lives to do it.  2 deaths for 1 teamwork point, not much fun.  Heck, you can't even use the AT missile to defend against being squished by a Humvee or Vodnik since they will take a hit to the front and keep on coming.  I mean, that's just silly!

Assault class is fine.. like anyother kit if your good at it you can rack up the points. this game is team / squad based so if your a lone assault of course your not going to last as long as a medic but you can get a lot more kills.. and if your in a squad as an assault, have a medic with you = a shit load of points and flag caps.. of course depends on your skill as well as your enemys skill..

As for you guys complaining about AT's vs tanks... you can kill a tank in 3 hits for sure and 2 if you have really good aim..

I just started playing assault I have about 6 hours with the kit, I got off to a rough start but I'm starting to turn the corner. I really like the G3 I used it today for a quick round before I lost my connection I was 16-4 with it. So I think I am going to like assault, but man I would love to have a better sprint!

first of all, yes, it is possible to kill the assault class with other kits.  duh.  also, what does your bragging have to do with the subject of this thread?


now back on topic.  i think it would be reasonable for the assault kit to receive 2 pts per assist.  that really is what comes to my mind when i think of assault.  assisting one's team.

I disagree with wanting to change Assault. Assault's fine, in fact it's my most favorite/played kit but I'm trying to rack up on the 100 hours with the expert badges on the other kits so I'm missing out on my Assault kit... ALOT.

Assault's fine because the point for them is to keep moving and NEVER stick to one place, it's constantly moving, catching flags and moving on. You gotta be like a nomad on this one!

Quit already, the assault kit is awesome. Kill - cap - defend... The n00b tube does 125 damage and kills all infantrys in it`s way, you can take out a whole squad capping a flag alone with one flash. Learn to use it!

just my 5 cents...

Edit: one smoke grenade is useless though, the f2000 has 3 flash bangs...
