BF2S Forums Is it Ranked server or not?

Specifially, it was server 195.20.108.31:17567.

On the server browser, look to the left hand side, with all of the little icons.  If there is an icon there that looks like the corporal rank insignia, then it is a ranked server.  I just have my browser set to filter and display only ranked servers.  It's a checkbox at the bottom.

Since the last patch I have seen a lot of servers claiming to be ranked and while I seem to accrue the global points I was not getting the vet badges that should have come with 20+ kills and 15+ hours in the classes I was using.  Not much you can do beside leave them and not return.

I actually played at a server the other day that claimed to be ranked.  However, when i went to spawn i noticed that i had none of my unlocks available.  I went ahead and decided to play as a medic since it's one of my favorite kits and i like the AK101 anyhow.  Much to my surprise when i reached 5 heals i recieved my first aid badge.  I was shortly there after awarded my basic Medic Badge as well.

This came as quite a surprise since i have my veteran badges in all the kits already.  It would seem that the server was indeed ranked, but kept track of players stats individually and seperately from EA.  Kind of a cool idea.  Anyone else seen this before?

Yep, been on a few of them myself. I think it's a glitch though... but was sure fun to start from the begining . When I logged out, restarted the game and went back, my rank and unlocks were normal again
