I'm trying to help my friend that used to play Battlefield 2 with me. He edited the /unlocks.py file so that he could try out all of the unlocks on singleplayer, but then he couldn't join multiplayer games, so I told him to change it back. Well, he did and multiplayer worked again, but singleplayer wouldn't work for him. So, he uninstalled the game and tried to reinstall it, but everytime it gets to 42% on Fu She Pass and it freezes. After 5 minutes of waiting an error message comes up and it says: Unable to Install. (Please restart from the beginning.) He's tried doing a manual uninstall and completely getting rid of everything Battlefield 2 oriented. He has also tried doing a manual install, so see if his instalshield was the problem and that didn't work either. I'm almost ready to tell him to do a reinstall on Windows XP just so he can play again. His disk is in great condition, so I don't think that can be the problem either.
