Don't you just love them? Well I do!... Not really... Ever hate it when you have that apc locked onto your chest and shooting missiles at you and then you're bombarred with other things that'll probably kill you if you dont move? So have I! This is why i propose that the EA developers should let us CUT our parachutes if needed to.

Example.

Jump into a black hawk and fly over rock fortification.

JUMP OUT!

Roger that!

PARACHUTE!

WEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Enemy apc spotted, over.

ROGER THAT!

<PARACHUTE CUT>

Enemy: where'd he go?!?!?!?!

Cool, but I don't deploy my chute till I'm close the ground to avoid those circumstances. I'm sure I'm not alone.

Well I don't mean plummeting to your death, I mean you're in the air after jumping out of your plane at 12000 ft alt. and you want to get down faster, you cut the rope, and THEN you plummet to your death! ^_^

Just don't pull your chute until you are mere inches from the ground. (No, really.) When you are about 4 or so seconds from landing, mash the 9 key and you'll make it.

yeah, but i think cutting the parachute is better ^_^ Another cool thing would be that you can be tangled up in parachutes

dude i made a mod before.. i think i still have the file
i allowed you to cut your chute and get back in
But i had one issue
-if u were using a weapon, looking up, or in 3rd person- when you cut your chute
you died
but i increased player mass so he fell faster right away and it worked fine
-great minds think alike

This thread reminds me of one time I was playing Warlord as Insurgents...

There was an SAS guy who set his spawn point to the paradrop place near the Plaza CP...but then he went AFK. It was hilarious watching this guy. He ended up like 0-80 or something and we won the round because of all of his deaths. Only thing was, it was a shame he was falling so fast...I couldn't get any kills.

to be more realistic, there is always a reserve chute, so theoretically, you could cut your chute and then open another which is the circumstance when the main chute does not deploy
