of course it's going to run on DX10. if EA sticks to the formula, they will announce BF3 probably on the same day 2142 comes out. so you're looking at probably a year and few months from now for the initial release date. followed by a 3 to 6 month delay. if BF3 isn't DX10 by that time it would be like releasing the next GTA game on the PS2 and XBOX consoles.
