How do you guys get your Expert Combat badges?

So i was browsing and i saw that a lot of people get their Expert badges in vehicles or as Commander... but how many people do it as actual foot soldiers? As in, just use the base kit, with no help? I myself haven't gotten any expert badges, but when i get the req's for 'em, i'll go as infantry. Just to say that i can

PS- i'm not saying it's wrong to use vehicles and such, just wondering how many can do it without that

Heh...

Haven't got the experts yet, but I have played rounds where I've gotten 40 kills. Shame I don't have the times though. So far I'd have ex sniper, spec and engie (again, foot soldiering).

only got expert sniper had the time req 10 hours ago but it took me that long to finnaly get the 38 kills as only using the sniper kit that was hard but well worth it

i have only 2 expert combat badges, engineer and sniper. i earned my engi one in a tank (if you get expert engi w/o vehicle i would be hugely impressed) and my sniper one 100% as infantry. i'm eligible for two others (support and medic). i've been trying my butt off with the medic one and have only gotten close once (had a 39 kill round, about 50/50 mix helo ground). the support of only recently become eligeble for, i will earn that one on the ground, as i've gotten nasty with the PKM.

edit [as a side note i forgot about the knife badge...i earned that one the hard way on sharqi)

Got spec-ops on foot, threw C4 like a madman on sharqi and got exp explosive the same round. Pre 1.2, ever since 1.2 i haven't enjoyed ground pounding as much, just lately i`ve started to adjust and gotten good at it again.

OMG... I was doing very good, on an attempt to get my expert medic combat..i totally OWNED i got like 300 something points...almost 400, mix between infantry and vehicles, mostly trying to stay infantry...when i got it, i just said: screw it ill own the entire round...the commaander mustve loved me

Yeah, i'm pretty sure it works. Works for veteran badges anyways...

One time i drove around as commander in a tank, to get 40 kills, hehe...
Now that is the way to do it, kill with the t-90 and when you die push the artillery button

yestarday I got my expert engineer on warlord! palace is the key alot of kills were from nades. But I didnt got 44 kills yet as sppecial forces badge requires. next goal- expert repair.

A mix of getting kills on foot and as commander. Which I think is fair, since you're not getting any points for your kills anyway.

I've had 39 kills as Sniper before, but I didn't have my time then so I got Expert Sniper in a heli. I've also had around 50 kills as medic on Karkand on-foot, but again, didn't have the time yet. I'll probally get medic in a heli or jet.

I play to win.. i dont go for badges.. im letting them come as they come.. I also dont plan on getting them with armor or aircraft.. its just funner for me that way.. earn them on foot after all there INFANTRY badges

I also play to win, im probably the best team player I know. If we are loosing, unlike most, ill stop plane whoring and go on foot for the win. The badges come naturaly to a GOOD player and not someone who plays for points :\

Bah, before anyone starts comparing my K ratio or anything like that, if you look at my SPM chart, back in November last year, one of my friends started living on my couch and using my online account to play. I didn't see the harm in it untill I noticed my SPM dropping like an entire point in 2 weeks. Its been very hard to bring it back :\
