AF crashing alot

Anyone else getting this? i mean im just driving around in an abrams and im getting thrown back to the desktop....... what the hell?

I see the same things sometimes james.....I am working on upgrading my system and hoping that will help with that.

Yup, since i installed AF im getting threwn back to desktop just when its finished with loading a map...
and my PC is average...not a piece of sh*t.
Its very annoying because the loading itself takes about an hour, then you get thrown back to desktop, so you can wait an hour again...

my pc is quite good, apart from the 5700 in it lol.... its 3.2ghz 1024 ram 400mhz speed.... 200gb hd. its not pants lol but AF just throws me out, but its only started doing it since yesterday.

Dude that is almost my machine......But I have a 5900 in mine.......LOL.......But the hard drive is 120gb though. That is funny.

I say try reinstalling the 1.3 full patch and that might help otherwise sometimes i get a CTD as well. Also make sure you have almost nothing running in the background while running bf2.

I don't think its AF in particular, I've been getting these crashes since the newest patch came out. Whenever I finish loading I seem to crash to desktop whenever I hit "Join."

This doesn't happen all the time but enough to get on one's nerves.

Argh i cant stand it, ive put in like 7 hours on AF and it just keeps crashing. Meh, maybe ill just stick to being a Karkand whore

I can play midnight sun just fine. It is Road Rage and Operation Harvest that have problems sometimes. Really Wierd.

Now that you mention it, seems as if it crashes on the 2 maps for me as well. I did reinstall 1.3 but no joy there, still freeze/CTD on join.

Exactly the same for me, every other map works fine but when I join road rage it loads there is lag with my mouse i.e i turn left and 2 seconds later the screen moves, then it just crashes back to desktop.

It worked OK for the first 2 games I played a week ago but now its pants.
