Maybe a possible add in the new fix that will come.

When a commander drops a supplie crate the enemy see's it to, maybe it is a good idea that they become invisable just like when a teammate drops some ammo or first8kit's.

I also think it is bullshit (but dont know this for sure) that the enemy can get life or supplies of your own crate :-s

I had that in Mashtuur city, i was commander, dropped amo at my arty and a spec ops guy regained c4 from my crate :-( I know he didnt had any more becaude he also blew up al lot of other shit before.

Well a box full of something should be full of that something no matter who is standing near it... don't you think?

No i dissagree because when a team8 drops ammo for his team the enemy cant see that either so why should the enemy see the supplie crate?

P.S: You can see and even pick up enemy ammobags and first aids.. They are not much invisible... Only differense is that you don`t see the symbols over them.

im pretty sure you do see symbols over them...theres been a few times ive been behind a fence, seen the symbol drop on the ground, and tossed c4 over the fence and blown up some enemies.

Sometimes the ammo or medic packs from the opposing team almost look like C4 on the ground from a distance lol

I've actually driven a different route in vehicals because of that

So, given that in the game and in real life if you drop supplies you can see and use them; I think its a perfectly acceptable part of the game.

well, then something is different about your game than mine.  its kind of cheap being able to see the symbols.  like i said, you can see them from a bit of a distance, and through obstacles...so i just toss a c4 or grenade in there and watch the bodies fly.

I agree and disagree with this post... I don't know why friendly supplies are visible to enemies, but I also think it would be retarded if they couldn't use them if they stumbled onto them. Like the other guys said, its still a box full of somethin isn't it?

Maybe as a way of reducing the support and medic players' propensity to spam packs in as many places as possible - maybe they might consider it bad tactics to leave bags *everywhere* because you don't want the enemy to make full use of them, or at least use them as a indicator of location.

Although those kind of players probably wouldn't care.

There is no Icon displaying it on the Mini Map for Enemy Supplies, But you can still use them, I've killed Many a Medic and Used his Bags to Heal myself... Its up to you as the Commander to make sure that Spec ops isn't still there, now that it gives points, people camp for that reason, to wait for Commander to try and Fix it... I do that on Dalian Plant.

I AM the specops guy you mention...if I'm in your base and you drop supplies, it's mana from heaven. For every tactic, there is a counter-tactic and an unintended consequence. Welcome to any competitive endeavor on the planet.

In particular, here is how I handle it...especially if the box is already there when I get there and the resources aren't separated too much...

1. load bags on each resource until dry
2. get to the supply crate and resupply
3. drop bags on remaining resources
4. return to supply crate and resupply (including health as necessary)
5. drop bags on crates
6. resupply
7. blow everything to kindom come
8. repeat

I think one of the reasons that specops don't wear armor is that you have the opportunity to take them out before they can complete the sequence...if they had body armor, it would be much harder...

I once had a 200 ticket round in which I got 90 by using this tactic for the entire round (Karkland)...it was only at the end that the whole MEC team came back and took the spawn that I finally died. I killed the commander about 10 times as he tried to take me solo (and I'd gotten the tank for good measure). Keep in mind that my combat score only reflected defense of the position...so most of those points were blowing his stuff up over and over...thank you supply crates! :-D
