Yes I know this has been discusses and I did search but nothing helped me!

I am trying to create a new name just to see how I would do. Every time I go to create it BF2 tells me the uniquenick is already taken... no matter what i type in it's always taken

I am trying to make my name into- =|major)(assult|=

I am pretty sure the name isn't taken so could someone please help me!

If it's still taken, it's taken.

Another good way to test is to query the stats on BF2s.

One thing I've noticed is, No matter how many of these: - _ () [] {} you have in your name, It doesnt count. So, Its checking to see if the account majorassault is taken. Not []{}Major)(Assault{}[] .

Yeah I know how to spell it but back in BF1942 I couldn't spell it and I just kept it the same from there

Thanks for the help guys I will go try this out!

EDIT: It still doesn't work no matter what I try. I even tried typing in a bunch of letters like fkdseklehefefh but it still doesn't work.

Well, I dont know whats wrong with that then.

My Username is DaReJa, If I made an account called: Da-Re-Ja, It would say that it already exists, Even though it doesnt, So EA's whatever you call it doesnt count Symbols, Only counts Letters and maybe Numbers, But I dont know whats wrong with yours, Even after you typed in a bunch of Letters.
