While you are correct, I didn't know the M16A3 was full auto. I thought right after the M1A2, it was just from burst.

And EA is just plain stupid. The Marines are using the M1A4, not the M1A2, which doesn't have those nice add-on capabilities like the M203.

M1A2 = Tank

M16A2 = assault rifle

the XM8 was cancelled due to the fact the the bullet it fired (5.56mm) was too weak, the US military is looking for a more powerful round (7.62mm) that is why they cancelled it, and that is why it aint in the game.

this is what i heard it may be just a rumor

I was talking about the M16A2. You misread. I don't think anyone would assume the M16A4 doesn't have the add-on capabilities, since it is the latest and greatest. But, thanks for the neg.

If you want it to be the M16A4 then modify your localization files.

The M4 is semi and burst. The M4A1 is semi and full auto.

I thought the XM8 was eliminated from the competition (too bulky), and it came down between the FN SCAR and the HK 416 (and 417 if it exists, the SCAR-H competitor). Then again I haven't really checked up on it lately, for all I know they've settled on a Kalashnikov. Yeah, right.

Firstly, I didn't neg you.  I don't neg people.  It's pointless.  I'd much rather make you look like an idiot in public by pointing out your mistakes instead of make a little number next to your name go down one. 

I'm guessing that someone left an annoymous neg.    Probably either around the time i left my post, or somehow related to my post.  This caused you to think i neg'd you.  *IF* i was going to neg you, i'd leave my name.  I'm rather hoping this is the case, cause the thought of you lacking the mental capacity to match two unique names makes me sad.  Or perhaps you just have a problem with hand to eye coordination, causing you to hit "-1" instead of "+1".  I hope not, otherwise i'd advise you to see a doctor about that...
