Funny....yes most of the "noob" callers have it and I had to try to get it. Getting killed 20 times in a round was tough...but I finally got it on wake.

FYI: your stats mean nothing in real life...most of you computer nerds would run and hide in a real fight even without the guns.

Some people try for one, but just one. But if you're the type of player who will run in when everyone else runs away, you're going to rack up a few deaths, maybe not 4:1 but anything can happen.

While I only got the purple heart 2 times while being spawnraped like hell on our only flag. My friend KyleAvondale (check his stats) has been awarded the purple heart around 23 times. We all laugh like hell on TS when he goes "I just got another purple heart!" He hasnt gotten one in a few weeks though but he used to get one EVERY DAY. He aint the greatest player but he can own you in a jet lol.

i got purple heart because i just want to have all the medals, i just got in a game killed 5 people and died 19 times (thats why my death streak is 19) i know you need 20 deaths but i think i killed like 3 people die, kill 2 more and then just run in the enemy with a knife or something

i just went and killed 4 people then went runnig round with the shock paddles and medic pack revivng everyone till i dies 20 times (i shock paddled someone at around 10 deaths in a row so i didn't get a huge death streak)

haha, I have a friend that says the same things. Kinda funny
I've been close to get one, one time at iron gator I thought I'd get. I had 5:20 kill:death but the round ended about <10sec after and it didn't come.

Hey, to everyone who said that it is bad to get the purple heart. All of you would have recived it if you every played for your teammates and not only for your stats.

Recieving the purple heart means that you are a good teampalyer and so I am proud to recieved it more than once. Because not getting it means only that you disconnect when you where killed to often and search for a better server.

In my opinion everyone who doesn't have it is a noob and not those who have it. Cause at a war everybody is important and not only those how give a damn about the others.

Hey, just compare your total points and your team points with mine. Than you may see, who's the better team player and who's a selfish player.

Have you ever fight for your team defending the last flag on a map while tanks choppers and planes fire at you and you are getting killed every 2 seconds after your respawn? Probably not! I think you have switched the team took a tank and fire on us, too. Or you might have disconnected to find a new server where you can do your own thing without a “bad” team. But hey, you where part of that team and you marooned them by disconnecting.

So you better think twice before you say, that good team have to survive, they have to stick together and finally win the match.

I have one on my 1st account when I was new to the game, but have not recieved one yet on my 2nd account. I have came close to recieving it, but I do not think it is bad to get one. I believe it is all part of the learning curve in this game and many like it.

Most games just do not remind you that you had a bad round by awarding you a medal for it like BF 2.
