Don't know if anybody else has stumbled across one of these, but I thought that I would share.

For the hell of it, I tried to join it but it obviously wouldn't let me. It gave me the error that I had to had the expansion and if I wanted, I could go to this website to preorder. No big deal.

Hmm, apperently the expansion will be backwards compatible with the maps we know now then, at least it appears that way. And why wouldn't it.

I'm sure it will be. I mean, have you ever seen en expansion for a game as popular as this be a standalone? I would imagine you'll be able to use your old acct for the it as well, but we'll have to see. I really doubt ea wants to piss everyone off at this point now that they have some competition in the gaming market.

I found one like a month ago.  I just noticed a server playing a map I hadn't seen before.  I clicked on it and got that SF logo.  It was cool, and I tried to join too, but to no avail.  All the guys in there had tags like [EARS].

EARS is an EA Test Lab server, ofcourse you couldn't join. Only EA Employees are aloud to.
